I really enjoyed interviewing the elders. I learned a lot about the Netsilik Lake and the different stories about the legends. When we interviewed elders, they had different stories, but with not much different. I think we should have gathered them all together to get the story straightened out.
I enjoyed going to the Netsilik Lake, and the elders were very thankful and happy that they were brought to the lake. I'm glad I got to go to the Thunder House.
It was very interesting when we gathered together at the elder's center. It was very different from talking or interviewing one-on-one. Usually one person knows all about the area, and then they have fun with each other. It's fun to talk and meet with the elders. I think I'm going to have elders invite students and, or young people to tell stories to pass on their generation, which is very valuable and important. I hope to do this again in the future, and make some books for students or people to read. Thanks for a wonderful time I had.
